Lambertville City Council meeting

The Lambertville City Council met at 7pm on Thursday, September 3, 2026. All council members were in attendance.

K Hov

The mayor announced that K. Hovnanian filed a motion with the court and that the information had been posted to the city website. He said the city will respond.

Cavallo Park

The mayor said Cavallo Park LSRP met with the DEP, and they are moving into last stage of remediation. It is expected to be done in the next two to three months.

Public Comments

🗣 Peter H. asked why a fence was installed around the inlet structure in Ely Field. The mayor said it protects kids. Peter said it’s a three-sided fence so he hoped it was there temporarily while they fixed the drain there, which he said isn’t working.

Peter had concerns, and he requested to meet with the mayor. He also talked about the mayor’s writing in the latest Lambertville Matters newsletter. He wasn’t satisfied with the mayor’s suggested stormwater remediation action items, and asked what people could do.

Historic Preservation Commission Meeting: September 8, 2026

The Lambertville Historic Preservation Commission met at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. The commission approved the previous minutes with an amendment for the rearranged order. Then they heard applications and addressed public correspondence. The first application was for a sign at a new art gallery.
