Only ‘u’ and ‘me’.” — Unknown July was another hot one in Lambertville. We avoided dense rains that passed north of town and heavily flooded parts of northern New Jersey and New York. Air quality was poor for a few days due to Canadian wildfires. However, none of that stopped Lambertville from thriving and surviving for another month. ### Cavallo Park Closer to Reopening ![the entrance to Cavallo park blocked by barriers](https://storage.ghost.io/c/fa/bd/fabd45fd-ac8a-48c2-a258-906f3226b8a7/content/images/2026/07/cavallo.webp) Cavallo Park, but not this summer City officials are shooting for an October remediation, but expectations are that the park won’t be back in service until the end of the year. A large crowd watched from the Lambertville Station parking lot. People were also on the bridge and on the New Hope side. There are only [two more fireworks nights](https://lambpage.com/blog/2025/06/2025-new-hope-lambertville-fireworks-drone-show?ref=lambpage.com)scheduled for the rest of the year. Although it was hot out, the crowd relaxed in the shade and enjoyed food and drinks from the Legion’s kitchen. Union Street](https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/17-21-S-Union-St-Lambertville-NJ-08530/451813988%5Fzpid/?ref=lambpage.com) to sell. With an $850,000 price tag, the property was clearly targeted at developers. The building’s exterior has been painted. Inside has new carpets, freshly painted walls, a new mural in the kid’s room, and an improved ambiance that makes meeting, reading, and learning even better.
