Case #2026-005470
On Monday, June 1st, 2026 at 2004 hours, patrol received a telephone call to police headquarters regarding a male acting suspiciously in the area of Bridge Street and Lambert Lane. Officer Berry investigated.
Case #2026-005622
On Thursday, June 4th, 2026 at 1641 hours, patrol was dispatched to a residence on Brunswick Avenue for a report of a dispute involving illegal dumping. Officer Hughes investigated.
Case #2026-005653
On Friday, June 5th, 2026 at 0941 hours, patrol was dispatched to a business on South Main Street regarding harassment involving employees. Corporal Wurpel investigated.
Case #2026-005684
On Friday, June 5th, 2026 at 1912 hours, patrol responded to the Boat Launch (3 Station Court) for a rescue of (3) individuals after their jetski overturned. All parties were recovered with no injuries. Officer Berry investigated.
Case #2026-005744
On Sunday, June 7th, 2026 at 0026 hours, Officer Berry and Officer Zilliox completed an investigation into a verbal dispute between a female and two males in the area of Ely Field.
Case #2026-005760
On Sunday, June 7th, 2026 at 1521 hours, patrol responded to the area of the canal path for the report of a possible assault and bike theft. Through further investigation, it was determined that the possible assault occurred in West Amwell and the bicycle was recovered in Lambertville. Corporal Wurpel handled this investigation.
Case #2026-005765
On Sunday, June 7th, 2026 at 1845 hours, patrol was dispatched to the area of the canal path for a female being harassed by an unknown male. Officer Berry and Officer Zilliox investigated.
Case #2026-005841
On Tuesday, June 9th, 2026 at 1631 hours, Officer Caponpon completed an investigation regarding harassment involving employees of a business on South Main Street.
Case #2026-005866
On Wednesday, June 10th, 2026 at 1210 hours, Sergeant Gramlich conducted an investigation into theft of merchandise from 1 Cherry Street (CVS).
Case #2026-006255
On Saturday, June 13th, 2026 at 2354 hours, Officer Zilliox investigated a false reporting of kidnapping and murder from a residence on Buttonwood Street. Subsequent investigation led to charging Maurice Monk of Trenton NJ with causing false public alarm (3rd Degree crime) and filing a false police report (4th degree crime).
Case #2026-005120
On Tuesday, June 30th, 2026, Sergeant Bast charged Rajeshkumar Patel (Frenchtown NJ) with 2C:17-2C (Third Degree Crime) after Patel created a risk of widespread injury or damage by storing portable generators and gas canisters inside of 1 Route 165. While the items were being stored, one began to leak gasoline inside the structure, causing explosive gasses to accumulate inside the business and adjoining apartments.
