On Monday, August 3rd, 2026 at 1235 hours, patrol investigated a report of fraud that occurred via Facebook in which the victim suffered a monetary loss of over $6,000.00. Detective Sergeant Bast is investigating.

On Monday, August 3rd, 2026 at 0037 hours, patrol investigated an incident involving a suspicious male frequenting the area of North Main Street. Officer Berry and Officer Hughes investigated.

On Thursday, August 6th, 2026 at 1139 hours, patrol investigated a report of harassment. Detective Sergeant Bast investigated.

On Thursday, August 6th, 2026 at 1905 hours, patrol was dispatched with the Lambertville Fire Department to Buttonwood Street for the report of an active fire. The residence sustained significant damage which was investigated by Officer Ticona and Detective Sergeant Bast.

On Wednesday, August 12th, 2026 at 1201 hours, patrol investigated a report of harassment at a residence on South Main Street. Officer Caponpon is investigating.

On Wednesday, August 12th, 2026 at 0738 hours, patrol investigated a report of fraud at a business on Elm Street. Officer Caponpon is investigating.

On Wednesday, August 10th, 2026 at 1805 hours, patrol investigated a report of theft by deception at a residence on York Street. Officer Zilliox is investigating.

Case #2026-008551

On Friday, August 14th, 2026 at 2244 hours, Sergeant Gramlich arrested Matao Walker subsequent to a motor vehicle stop after he was found to have two outstanding warrants. Walker was released on his own recognizance with future pending court dates.

On Saturday, August 15th, 2026 at 1417 hours, Chief Brown took a report regarding suspicious activity on North Union Street. A further investigation revealed the incident was considered a bias incident. The investigation is continuing.

On Sunday, August 16th, 2026 at 1456 hours, patrol was dispatched to a residence on North Union Street for a report of suspicious activity. A further investigation revealed the incident was considered a bias incident. The investigation is continuing.

On Sunday, August 16th, 2026 at 1830 hours, Chief Brown was dispatched to a residence on Swan Street for the report of a lost license plate.

On Thursday, August 20th, 2026 at 0713 hours, patrol investigated a report of theft from a business on South Franklin Street. Officer Hughes is investigating.

Case #2026-008840

On Saturday, August 22nd, 2026 at 1747 hours, Chief Brown responded to the area of South Union Street for the report of trespassing which is being further investigated.
